Kinesthetic Learning

The relationship between movement and learning has been widely researched and identified as positively correlated in the classroom.  Our teachers recognize and respect this relationship and welcome student movement during instruction.  Some students fulfill their need for movement with free drawing while listening to lessons.  Others may opt to walk around the classroom while thinking of a writing topic.  Each student’s need for movement while learning is different; we accept and encourage each student to self-regulate their need within reason.
